Leadership is not something you are simply born with—it’s something you develop, refine, and strengthen over time. This belief is what inspired me to join both ACHARAI and ACCELERATE: to continue learning, evolving, and becoming the best leader I can be. These programs not only provide invaluable skills, but they also connect me with fellow community leaders who I can collaborate with, seek advice from, and lean on for support.

One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned through these cohorts is that leadership is teachable. It is not an inherent trait but a skill that can be nurtured and developed. These programs challenge the old notion that leaders are born, proving instead that they are made through experience, education, and effort.

At the heart of my leadership philosophy is relationship-building. Treating people with dignity and respect is essential in fostering a strong, supportive community. Whether it’s within an organization, among peers, or in broader networks, the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships is what drives impactful leadership.

As I step into my role at Towson Hillel, my goal is to build on the incredible momentum we’ve achieved. Over the past few years, we have significantly expanded our reach, engaging more students than ever before. Moving forward, I am committed to continuing this trajectory—enhancing our programs, strengthening our community, and growing our impact.

A key focus of our growth is expanding our fundraising efforts beyond our immediate region. By reaching out to surrounding counties and even out-of-state supporters, we are creating new opportunities to sustain and amplify our work. I look forward to deepening these efforts and ensuring that Towson Hillel thrives for years to come.

Leadership is a journey, not a destination. I am excited for what lies ahead and grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside such inspiring leaders.
