Na’aleh Annual Meeting: An Evening of Leadership, Gratitude, and Civic Engagement

Na’aleh: The Hub for Leadership Learning warmly invites the community to its Annual Meeting, an evening dedicated to celebrating leadership, expressing gratitude, and strengthening connections across our community.
The Annual Meeting will feature a special discussion with Ben Cardin and Myrna Cardin on civil discourse, civic engagement, and Jewish leadership. Together, we will explore the Cardins’ new Center for Civic Engagement and Civil Discourse at Towson University—offering a powerful example of the thoughtful, values-driven leadership Na’aleh strives to cultivate across our community.
The evening will also include the presentation of the The Debra Silberman Weinberg Leadership Award, which honors the leadership legacy and impact of Debra Silberman Weinberg. this award is given to a current or recent board member of Na’aleh who Embodies Jewish Values, such as chesed (compassion), tikkun olam (justice), and derech eretz (respect); leads with integrity, humility, and purpose; Integrates Jewish Life into Leadership; Serves as a Community builder and values Collaboration. This year, we are thrilled to give the award to Emily Gaines Demsky
We will also have a chance to give recognition and appreciation of outgoing board members for their dedication and service: Emily Gaines Demsky, Fran Pruce, Lee Sherman, and Ilene Vogelstein as well as the installation of incoming officers and board members as they step into leadership roles.
