Annual Shoshana S. Cardin Leadership Symposium

The Shoshana S. Cardin Leadership Symposium was created to honor the incredible vision, life and legacy of Shoshana S. Cardin, founding chair of ACHARAI. This annual symposium creates a space for inclusive and meaningful text-study that both celebrates the memory of an extraordinary leader and the richness of our Baltimore Jewish community.

Using Jewish wisdom to navigate discourse in our families, communities, and society.
We are living in a moment of unprecedented breakdown in civil discourse. We are stuck in our own echo chambers, not listening to each other, let alone understand each other. This is as true in the Jewish community as it is in society generally. Rabbi Mike Uram, author, educator, speaker, and consultant, will share how we can bridge our divisions and build common ground through the study of our rich textual tradition.
