Courageous Conversations
With facilitator Dasee Berkowitz
For all professionals and lay leaders in the Jewish community
In today’s divisive climate, it’s tempting to play it safe and surround ourselves with those with whom we agree. But as leaders in the Baltimore Jewish community, we know that true belonging comes from embracing our diversity of views.
Join fellow professionals and lay leaders in this hands-on workshop – rooted in Jewish values – to learn the skills you may need to facilitate communal conversations that are inclusive, courageous and kind. You’ll learn to:
- Recognize and navigate triggers that can prevent you from listening generatively.
- Gain tools to lead conversations with greater curiosity, empathy and openness to differing perspectives.
We welcome participants of all abilities. Questions? Contact Rachel Plotkin at rlplotkin@naalehbaltimore.org.
