Jewish Priorities is an anthology of articles – from some of the most important voices across the Jewish world, (i.e. rabbis, communal leaders, artists, influencers, journalists, scholars, activists, philanthropists and novelists) – aimed to start a global conversation among Jews about their future as a people.

The topics range widely, from Zionism and anti-Semitism to education and philanthropy; from the Holocaust to Jewish intimacy; from the Jewish quest for G!d to the failure of Jewish institutions and the best way to study torah in an age of viral videos. Together, these essays “offer an unprecedented snapshot of the cultural, political, and religious ideas and impulses driving an entire generation of Jews – as well as their deepest aspirations and dreams at a pivotal moment in history.”

On one Friday morning each month, this alumni salon will tackle 2 articles in the anthology, carefully considering the core questions that they raise and how they may relate to the future of Jewish life in Baltimore and the world.

Facilitated by AFP alumnus, Mina Wender, and Na’aleh’s Director of Leadership Innovation, Andrea Hendler.

All sessions will take place from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Location is a private residence (address will be provided upon completion of registration).
