Na’aleh: The Hub for Leadership Learning presents the Rina Janet Leadership Middot Conversations, a seven-part moderated series featuring Baltimore based leaders reflecting on their personal experiences of a specific middah (character strength). The highlighted middot include: compassion, courage, curiosity, gratitude, humility, integrity, and wisdom.

Moderating this series is Melissa Gerr, producer and contributor for NPR affiliate station WYPR, along with Rabbi Steve Schwartz of Beth El Congregation, who will frame each session through a Jewish lens.

This program is named in loving memory of Rina L. Janet, z”l. Rina was a beloved volunteer leader in the Baltimore Jewish community and played a significant role in making the world a better place. Among her many leadership roles, Rina served as the Chair of the Associated Women and General Chair of Israel Bonds in Maryland. Her wisdom, compassion, integrity and Jewish values lend themselves beautifully to name this series in her honor and memory.
