Embracing L’Dor v’Dor with Hayim Herring, author of Connecting Generations
Rabbi Hayim Herring, Ph.D., is C.E.O. of HayimHerring.com, whose mission is “Preparing Today’s Leaders for Tomorrow’s Organizations™.” He has served as a congregational rabbi of Beth El Synagogue in Minneapolis, MN., assistant executive director of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation, and founding executive director of STAR (Synagogues: Transformation and Renewal), a foundation created by Michael Steinhardt, Edgar Bronfman, and Lynn Schusterman for synagogue innovation and rabbinic leadership development. Hayim has published over 70 scholarly and popular articles and studies primarily on the American Jewish community. Recent books include Connecting Generations: Bridging the Boomer, Gen X, and Millennial Divide (Rowman and Littlefield 2019); Leading Congregations and Nonprofit Organizations in a Connected World: Platforms, People and Purpose (Rowman and Littlefield 2016), co-authored with Dr. Terri Elton; and, Tomorrow’s Synagogue Today: Creating Vibrant Centers of Jewish Life (Rowman/Alban Institute 2012). He is currently co-authoring a volume title, L’Dor va-Dor in a Post-COVID Digital Age.
$25 is the registration fee for each session.
