For ACHARAI Alumni, Four-Part Series

In this series we are taking a look behind the scenes at how different leaders and their organizations in our community have been impacted by COVID-19 and how they are handling both the challenges and opportunities. The first two sessions focused on synagogues and education.

This third session will focus on business and how four Baltimore business owners have handled the challenges and opportunities presented by COVID-19. It will feature guest speaker, Suzy Ganz, Chairman and CEO of Lion Brothers and a panel of ACHARAI alumni moderated by Marty Taylor, Cohort VII, Managing Partner, Kesher Technology Fund.

Suzy Ganz, Chairman and CEO of Lion Brothers Suzy is Chairman and CEO of Lion Brothers, and is a passionate Entrepreneur, Board Director, Corporate Advisor and Public Sector leader. She brings an expertise in strategy, digital manufacturing, innovation and entrepreneurship. Over her more than twenty-five years at Lion, has transitioned Lion from one of America’s first embroidery companies into a leading material science and innovation company within the global apparel industry. Prior to joining Lion in 1988, Suzy’s early career was in Investment Banking. Suzy is a member of YPO/WPO, Committee of 200 and Maryland’s Executive Alliance. She serves on the Corporate Board of Directors of Thames Technology/Barcoding Inc. and Credly, the leader in Digital Credentialing. She is a past Board member of Applica Inc. (NYSE: APN) and Hedwin Corporation.
