This year has swiftly transformed our lives and challenged our resilience, in previously incomprehensible ways. As people and employees we find ourselves striving for balance in this “new normal.” This program will introduce mindfulness as a tool to support you not just as a person, but as a manager, to thrive through (& beyond) this pandemic. Join us in learning how to apply this practice to prevent burn out, optimize productivity, and enhance leadership performance – even during a pandemic!

Stacey is a licensed clinical social worker & social work supervisor in Maryland. She has spent the last ten years working as a manager at human service agencies in Maryland and DC, and has served as a trainer and consultant to support the work of educators, clinicians, and other therapeutic professionals, as well as agencies and communities across Maryland and DC.
As a clinician, Stacey understands that mental health does not exist in silo, and that true wellness requires care and attention be paid to “whole person” – mind, body, and spirit. This belief has guided her to take a deep dive into the world of holistic health, where Stacey has obtained training and certification is a variety of complimentary health and mindfulness practices, including yoga and meditation. Her work has been complimented by these endeavors, as they have profoundly enhanced her capacity and effectiveness in her various roles, personally and professionally.
At present, Stacey is the Manager of Child Therapy Services at Jewish Community Services in Baltimore, and also working as a private consultant and trainer. Stacey received her Bachelor of Art in psychology from Elon University in North Carolina and studied Neuro and Social Psychology at the University of Bristol in England. Stacey earned a Master’s degree from the New York University Graduate School of Social Work, and holds Advanced Certification in Child and Adolescent Trauma Treatment from University of Maryland School of Social Work. She has a variety of certifications and training experience that supports her work, including being clinically trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Focusing-Oriented therapy, and Somatic Psychotherapy. Additionally, Stacey is trained in a variety of holistic health models, which she is able to incorporate into her work with clients of all ages. She is a Usui and Karuna Ki Reiki Master, as well as a certified yoga & meditation instructor for both adults and children.
